A tribute by Dr A K Kundra

As you enter Autism Guardians Village, on your right is a beautiful road leading to a cul-de-sac, lined by Avenue trees.

In a fitting tribute to Bhanu, it was named “Bhanu Lane”, the very same lane where Tanmay and Mona live now.

Bhanu was the very first parent who booked a cottage in the futuristic AGV.
Such was his faith and trust in my concept of AGV, an Autism community for life-span care of young adults with autism.

Bhanu visited Autism Ashram a few times, lived amongst the children for few days.
And enjoyed and appreciated the life of children living with me.

Even during construction of AGV, he would come over and keenly observed whatever went on.

We connected through an unseen bond and he would call me from Noida and have long talks and open his heart out.

He was a doting father of Tanmay and he believed AGV was the safest place for Tanmay.

He was to move in last April -May during the peak first covid wave.

But God had other plans.

God can be God only if He is surrounded by good people like Bhanu.

So God took Bhanu away.

On 5th September, on Bhanu’s birthday, we called Mona and quietly revealed the Bhanu Lane with our eyes moist.

Now Bhanu lives amongst us in AGV.
He would be the happiest man ever seeing his trust in me is now a beautiful and safe haven for families living with autism.

And for Mona !
And for his son, Tanmay !
